Courses We Offer

What courses do you offer and what is the duration?

We offer National and International courses in Information technology and their durations range from 1 month to 18 months. Please check on the right hand side of this page for a list of courses or click here

In What language are your courses presented in?

English only as English is the international medium for all Information Technology and communication packages and courses.

I have not Completed Grade 12, May I still study at the college?

Yes you may still study at NCC as  No Matric is required to study at the college.

Do you offer bursaries?

Limited Bursaries are offered every six months to deserving, unemployed individuals. These bursaries are given to your local and district municipalities as well as to the local community radio stations and the bursaries are awarded accordingly by these organisations and NOT BY NCC.

Is NCC funded by NSFAS?

NCC is a private college, and unfortunately NSFAS does not fund private colleges.

How much are the courses and can I pay off my course in installments?

All courses can be paid up in installments. Discounts are given to cash enrollments. Prices of courses differ, please check  on the right hand side of this page for the courses and their pricing or you may click here. 

What do I need to register at NCC?

If you are over the age of 21, You will need:

  • Your deposit for the course that you are registering for.
  • Your ID Document.
  • Your proof of residential address.
  • Your employment details.
  • A valid bank account that we may debit monthly for your course fees and instalments as due to security reasons we will soon not be accepting cash payments at our offices. For now you may still pay cash at our offices.
  • Your last 3 months bank statements.
  • Registration form to be fully completed and signed by yourself.
  • NCC rules and regulations to be understood, acknowledged and accepted by yourself. Click here for NCC rules and regulations.

  • Your guarantors proof of residential address.
  • Your guarantors employment details. 
  • Your guarantors valid bank account that we may debit monthly for your course fees and instalments as due to security reasons we will soon not be accepting cash payments at our offices. For now you may still pay cash at our offices.
  • Your guarantors last 3 months bank statements.
  • Registration form to be fully completed and signed by yourself and by your guarantor.

My guarantor is a pensioner and receiving a grant so he/she has no valid employment details. May I still study at NCC and have this guarantor pay for my course?

Yes, You may still study at NCC and still have your pensioned guarantor pay for your fees via a valid bank account by either debit or stop order.

I am a foreigner and I do not have a valid South African ID Document, can I still study at the college?

Yes you may and use your passport instead of a valid South African ID Document.

Where do I go to register to study at NCC?

You may come in directly to our offices (Refer to the map on the right) to register or you may register online by clicking here.

How soon after enrolment, can I commence my course?

You may commence as soon as the next day on condition we have spaces available. For registrations at the beginning of every year, we tend to group similar course groups together and commence in February of that year.

Do you have classes for people that are currently employed?

Yes, we have evening classes on a Monday and a Wednesday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.  Please refer to the right hand side of this page for study times.

Do you have classes on a weekend?

We have classes on Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00. Please refer to the right hand side of this page for study times.

I know that NCC has many branches, May I transfer from one branch to another?

Yes you may, but there could be additional charges as different branches have different prices and sometimes not all the branches may offer all the courses.

Do you have Graduation Ceremonies?

We have graduation ceremonies once a year for 6, 12 and 18 Month Students as well as those learners who have attained international qualifications.

Will you find me a job when I am done with my course?

Unfortunately, we do not guarantee employment, however we assist you with your CV, and popular employment websites that you can apply to. 

Although we do have companies that call us from time to time requiring suitable candidates and we do recommend our learners who have excelled in their studies.

  • Full Time Learners attend 4-6 hours per day from a Monday to a Friday (Could conclude earlier than normal durations)
  • Part Time Learners attend 2 hours per day from a Monday to a Friday (Will conclude course as per stipulated durations)
  • Working Class candidates attend on  Monday and Wednesday evenings from 17:30 to 19:30 (Working Class candidates can take almost double the time of normal durations to conclude)
